Above as Below – Rebecca Morgan-Finch
Micah teaches us that God requires of us to “walk our talk.” In my painting this principle is represented by the use of the heavenly colour purple, grounded into the earthly plane by the use of the colour red. Micah reminds us to navigate our daily lives with integrity, humility and authenticity to deliver what is just. The use of hands in a circular formation is used to show our differences but also our common humanity and interconnectedness. We must extend our self-compassion by practicing tolerance and loving kindness to those within our communities. We all must endeavour to develop and strengthen our reverence to one another, regardless of who we are.
