Sleeping Dogs and Liars – Grace McClymont

22 February, 2020

The God of the Bible cares for the hurt, the oppressed and those whose voice is being silenced.
The call to true worship is a call to put the needs of the vulnerable at the core of one’s purpose.
This dog is a Justice Dog. He is trained to sit quietly at the feet of a victim of a violent or disturbing crime as they face their accused perpetrator. He appears to sleep while the witness is relaxed, but when they grow distressed or agitated he becomes alert and places his head on their foot. He is their strength to face nightmare hostility. He is the tangible grounding love that allows them to function under intense pressure. He is a non-violent facilitator of justice who loves people.
