The Heart of God, a narrative Urn.
The form has been used in this work reminder that we are all mortal and subject to death. The work depicts narratives representing God’s requirements outlined to us in Micah 6:7 which shows the heart of God and His character;
justice, kindness, humility, depicted as universal themes and a detailed personal account.
The base depicts the creation of God, corrupted by man’s original sin, body of the vessel portrays the human struggles of life. The narrative of the four-sided urn is layered with personal content and global social justice themes.
The lid represents God’s solution to the problem of sin, the crucifixion, resurrection, redemption plan.
