Though I walk.. – Fiona Margaret Cameron

Micah 6:8 is the call to just stewardship of all creation in its magnificence and fragility.
This painting seeks to convey the resulting discord when that exhortation is ignored and the onus is placed on those who respond unstintingly with generosity, compassion and humility.
Our firefighters choose to serve the known or unknown Christ in neighbour and stranger. Their preparedness to lay down their life for the least; the voiceless; the vulnerable – sees them walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Tragically, often the odds are too great.
Australia’s bushfires confront at every level. Lives are lost; flora and fauna devastated.
A response of just stewardship is compelling.
