We Are One – Beatrice Sand

After our first son was born in 1988, I selected Micah 6:8 as his baptismal motto.
The verses wisely answer the question “what should I do, how should I live?” and are as relevant today as they were in the times of the prophet Micah.
Parents who wish to impart this moral compass of life to their children may choose these verses for their baptismal strophe.
The mother in my painting is very much in touch with herself. She is one with her innocent child.
Both feel sheltered and safe, cloaked with a wise, winged soul flower, surrounded by water, clouds and our Mother Earth they marvel humbly at God’s love and his safeguard through the ripples of their fate.
