– the past – the present – the future

Artist Statement

“Pollution, fire, war and disease rage through the world as a result of human activity. God is forgotten as we pursue subjective goals of self interest and materialism. The profound change God brought about with the Annunciation is ignored. Cutting apart Pontormo’s work The Visitation tells of the impact of this behavior and asks ‘Is it possible to turn back to God before it is too late?’ A benign tremor in my hands has had me radically change my way of working. My own metamorphosis.”

About the artist
