The Mandorla Art Award respectfully acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet and exhibit. We bless the Elders past and present of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout Australia. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. We celebrate the culture, ceremony, contribution and creativity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We bless these living cultures, enfolding them in a mandorla of prayer for the peace and flourishing of their communities.
