Committee Rev John Ward – we grieve for a wonderful man

The Mandorla Committee is deeply saddened by the death of Rev John Ward. He joined our committee in 2020 and has been an extraordinary contributor. During his time with Mandorla, he took on the portfolio of Volunteers Coordinator and always had a wise word to contribute. John’s diligence, happy, and calm personality ensured that our events were covered by marvelous volunteers.

John was also a buoyant, creative, and faith-filled man and an artist himself. His love for art was so much a part of everything he did, and we thank him for carving out and forming our Mandorla values and helping us refine our belief, vision, and mission statement as an Art Award. Our committee will miss him greatly.

We know and recognise that he is with God now, but we are all left to grieve for a wonderful man.

Our hearts go out to his wife, Julie, and his family, colleagues, and dearly loved friends.
